FAQs

Q) I purchased a repair, what do I do now?
A)
 Here's our process:

If you choose to mail-in a device, please send in with the form completely filled out and packaged properly. Choose your own shipping, we will match for return and bill as work is provided. If device is deemed a NO-FIX, the only thing a customer will have to pay for is shipping. parts used, and a $39 bench fee regardless if the device took 30 minutes until 10 hours.

Once you order a repair from our website (or custom repair invoice), you'll receive an email with the shipping label. Prices can vary a lot between shipping companies, depending on your location, so I would shop around to find the best prices. Our prices cover return shipping. Package your device carefully with plenty of padding and make sure the device cannot move around inside the box. You DO NOT want a loose device banging around in the back of a mail truck! DO NOT SHIP ACCESSORIES!! We have everything necessary to test your device and this will only result in lost items!! Grade of Electronics!!

Grade R : Item will be new in box.

Grade A : Very light use.

Grade B : Functional with heavier use.

Grade C : Functional but may feature scratches, dents, or broken hinges.

Grade D : NON-FUNCTIONAL. Sold for parts as is.

*Please Note: We do not ship to military addresses (We've had way too many consoles arrive broken.) *Please note: We do not require a signature for return shipping. If you would like signature confirmation please let us know.Make sure the name and address on the shipping label match the order info so that we can look up the order in our system when your device arrives. If the shipping name/address don't match, make sure to include the order number inside the box so we can look it up that way. If you have additional notes or requests, regarding the repair, make sure to include those in the box as well. Our repairs usually take between 1-5 business days, from the time we receive the device to the time we ship it back to you.Delays can happen due to: 1. COVID issues - Parts shipped from China are taking much longer to arrive and some electronic components are extremely hard to get because of worldwide shortages. 2. Additional repairs - If your device needs additional work after the original repair is complete, it may require more time since we have to contact you, explain the issue and get permission to proceed. We test primary device functions before shipping it back to you. All device repairs have a 90-day warranty. Custom repairs not listed on the website may or may not have a limited warranty; it depends on the repair. If the device is not repairable, we refund your card, minus our $39 bench fee for the time spent diagnosing and working on the device. We can then send the device back to you or recycle it here locally.

Q) What if my device stops working again? A) We offer a 90 day warranty on most repairs. Even if it is outside of the warranty period we will likely still offer you a discount on the repair. Our warranty covers parts and labor but does not cover abuse, liquid damage, dropped devices, insect infestations, etc.

Q) What if my device is not fixable? A) If the device is not repairable, we can send it back to you or recycle it here locally and refund your card, minus a $39 bench fee for the time we spent diagnosing and attempting to repair it.

Q) What is your turnaround time? A) Our turnaround is often a day or two but can take up to five business days for some repairs. Keep in mind that this is ONLY the time for the actual repair. Our free return shipping takes an additional 3-5 business days. Please note: This estimate will take longer if things happen outside of our control (such as a world-wide pandemic that slows down the economy and shipping).

Q) Are there things you don't fix? A) Rather than paying to send your device to us only to find it's not fixable when we receive it, we'd rather avoid that situation altogether. To combat this problem we've compiled a list of repairs that we don't perform here: - PS4 USB ports not working - This is often caused by a faulty Southbridge chip. - Data saves and/or transfers on any game console- Modded or hacked devices - This one is negotiable, so contact us to find out if we're able to repair. - Bug infested devices - We're not set up to handle bug infestations. If you don't think there are any live bugs and the device has at least been semi-cleaned out (on the inside) we will repair it.
